I am Bella Júlia Gutay
And this is my path
Singer, singing pedagogue, singing voice therapist and coach.
The Beginning
Music has been at the heart of my life for as long as I can remember.
From an early age, singing and making music felt natural to me, and my connection to music has only deepened over time.
Choral singing played a key role in my daily life, teaching me the value of collaboration and attention to others through music.
Later, I studied at a renowned music high school in Budapest, where I was immersed in the Kodály method. This approach not only shaped my musical discipline but also laid the foundation for my thoughtful and professional approach to teaching.
Teaching and Artistry
As a young singer, two key goals guide me.
The first is to help those who struggle with vocal difficulties. I offer personalized solutions for vocal training to help students achieve a pain-free, full, and beautiful sound, enabling them to create music.
My second goal is to develop my artistic expression. After spending much time perfecting my voice as an instrument, my focus now is on making music and exploring my artistic self.
Currently, I am heavily involved in organizing and performing concerts, but teaching will always remain a part of my life. The positive feedback I receive from my students continues to be a strong source of motivation.
The Path to Healthy Singing
At 18, I faced a serious vocal cord issue that prevented me from singing for six months. Neither doctors nor my teacher at the time could help, until a new singing teacher introduced me to the importance of healthy vocal technique and suggested I try opera singing.
That was the moment I decided singing would not only be my passion but also my profession.
A major breakthrough came when I started studying in Bremen with my professor, Krisztina Laki, who passed down Elisabeth Schwarzkopf’s technical knowledge. Under her guidance, my focus expanded not only to preserving vocal health but also to achieving the most beautiful sound possible.
This journey deeply shaped my personality and gave me a new perspective on my relationship with music and my body.
